About us

Turn a statement into data — without handing it to anyone.

That one idea is why this tool exists. Most converters ask you to upload your financial documents to their servers. We think you shouldn’t have to. Your statement should be simple to get out of a PDF — and never leave your device to do it.

Why we built it

It started with an upload button we didn’t want to click.

You need your bank statement in a spreadsheet, so you find a converter online. Every one of them asks for the same thing: upload your PDF. For a document that lists your account number, your balances, and every place you spent money, that’s a lot to hand to a website you’ve never used before — with no way to know what happens to the file afterward.

The thing is, that upload was never necessary. Modern browsers are powerful enough to read a PDF and build a spreadsheet entirely on your own device — no server, no account, nothing transmitted. The whole risky middle step just… disappears.

So that’s what we built: a converter that does all its work in your browser. Your statement is read locally, the transactions are pulled into clean columns, and a CSV downloads — all without your file ever being sent anywhere. There’s no server that could see it, because there’s no server in the loop at all.

Our mission

Make financial data effortless to work with — without ever asking you to hand it over.

What we believe

Four principles we don’t bend on.

01

Your statement is yours

A bank statement is among the most sensitive documents you own. So it stays on your device — read and converted in your browser, never uploaded anywhere.

02

Privacy you can verify, not just promise

“We delete your file” is a promise you can’t check. “Your file never leaves your browser” is a design you can — open your browser’s network tab and watch nothing get sent.

03

Do one thing well

We convert bank-statement PDFs into clean spreadsheets, and we try to do that one job better than anyone — not a hundred features done halfway.

04

Honest about limits

Text-based PDFs convert today; scanned statements need OCR, which is coming. When we can’t read something, we say so — instead of handing you a file that’s quietly wrong.

Our commitments

Two promises, made concrete.

“Private” and “simple” are easy words to print on a website. Here’s specifically what they mean when you convert a file here.

Our commitment to privacy

Your statement is read on your device and never sent anywhere. We designed the tool so there’s nothing to leak later — because there’s nothing collected in the first place.

  • Your file is parsed in your browser and never uploaded.
  • Nothing is stored — close the tab and the data is gone.
  • No account, no email, no tracking of your statement.
  • A strict content-security policy blocks the page from sending your file anywhere.

Our commitment to clean output

Getting the data out should feel effortless. We turn a jumbled PDF into a spreadsheet with real columns, and we’re upfront when a file is something we can’t read yet.

  • Date, description, and amount land in their own columns — not one messy cell.
  • The CSV opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, and Numbers.
  • Scanned or image-only PDFs are detected and flagged, not silently mangled.
  • No sign-up and no page limits to get your data out.

A note from the team

We built this because the two options on offer both felt wrong: retype a statement by hand, or upload one of your most sensitive documents to a stranger’s server and hope for the best. Neither felt acceptable when the data actually matters — at tax time, in front of a lender, on a client’s books.

We’re independent and deliberately small. That’s the point: it lets us obsess over one thing — getting your statement into data you can trust, without it ever leaving your hands — instead of chasing every feature on a roadmap.
